The Valen laser hair removal studio
Laser hair removal at Valen is the one service we run ourselves. Your sessions are done by an esthetician employed by Valen who holds Oregon’s laser hair removal certification.
Most people need a series of sessions spaced several weeks apart, because hair grows in cycles and the laser works best on hair in its growing phase. Your technician looks at your skin and hair first, explains what to expect, and plans the areas with you: face, underarms, bikini and Brazilian, legs and more. Results vary.
Before your first session, plan to shave the area as directed and skip waxing, plucking and tanning. Redness and mild swelling afterward are common and usually fade. If you are pregnant or have a medical condition, ask your own clinician first.

Is Valen a spa or a salon?
Valen is a beauty and wellness center. Independent, licensed providers rent private rooms here and run their own businesses. Valen runs one service itself: the laser hair removal studio.
How do I pay?
You pay your provider directly, in their own booking or payment system. Valen does not take payments or deposits for independent providers. Laser hair removal is paid to Valen.
What does Opening soon mean?
The service is coming but no provider is booking it yet. Join the waitlist on the service page and we will email you once when it opens.
