Valen Wellness is a beauty and wellness center in Aloha, Oregon, where independent, licensed providers each run their own business from a private room.
The idea
Many independent experts, one calm place
Great lash artists, estheticians, massage therapists and acupuncturists often work on their own. That is good for them, and often good for you: you get one person who knows your preferences and your history. The hard part is finding them. Their booking pages are spread across different apps, and their studios are spread across town.
Valen puts them in one place. Each provider has a private treatment room in our suite in Aloha, a short drive from Beaverton and Hillsboro. You can browse every service in one menu, read what happens at each visit, and book through one booking hub. Then you park once, walk in, and meet the provider you chose.
We built Valen around a simple promise: be well, your way. Pick the service you want, from the provider you want, at a time that suits you in their calendar.
How the independent model works
Each provider at Valen Wellness is an independently owned business. Valen Wellness does not employ or supervise them.
Providers rent a private room
Licensed pros rent a treatment room from Valen for a flat monthly fee and run their business from it.
They own their business
Each provider has their own brand, clients, prices, policies, license and insurance.
You book them directly
Our booking hub opens each provider's own calendar. You book and pay them, not Valen.
Licenses on display
Every provider must hold a current license. Their page shows the license type and number with a link to the state lookup.
One service run by Valen
Valen owns the laser hair removal studio, where sessions are done by a Valen esthetician with Oregon laser hair removal certification.
Medical services stay medical
Injectables and IV hydration come only from independently owned medical practices, after a licensed provider evaluates you.

Why this model works for clients
When you book at Valen, you are booking a small business owner who chose this work and built their own following. They set their own prices and policies, and they answer to their clients. You can see their license details before you book, and you deal with them directly from the first message to the final payment.
Valen takes care of the shared parts: the building, the private rooms, the shared waiting room, parking at the plaza, this website and the booking hub. That lets our providers put their attention on your appointment.

A former dermatology suite at Aloha Medical Dental Square
Valen Wellness Aloha lives in the former dermatology suite at Aloha Medical Dental Square, a professional plaza in Aloha, Oregon. The suite was built for private, one-on-one care, which suits the way our providers work: a door that closes, a calm room, and time with one client at a time.
The plaza has on-site parking, and it is an easy drive from Beaverton, Hillsboro, Tigard, Cedar Mill, Bethany and Reedville. Get directions and details on our Visit page.
The name
Why Valen
Valen comes from the Latin word valere, which means to be well and to be strong. It is the root of words like “valiant” and “value,” and of the old Latin farewell vale, a wish for someone to stay well.
That is what we want for everyone who walks through the door, clients and providers alike. Clients should leave feeling cared for. Providers should have a strong, steady place to grow their business. On the door and on maps you will see Valen Wellness Aloha, our first location.
