Every artist here runs their own business. They set their own menu, prices and schedule, and you book and pay them directly. Valen provides the calm space, the parking and one place to compare everyone.

Lash extensions: classic, hybrid or volume

Lash extensions are fine synthetic fibers bonded to your natural lashes, one at a time. The style you pick sets the look and the time you spend in the chair.

• Classic lash extensions place one extension on each natural lash. The result is longer, darker lashes that look like good mascara. A smart first set if you want natural.
• Hybrid lash extensions mix classic lashes with light fans for more texture and fullness without a heavy look.
• Volume lash extensions use small handmade fans of very fine lashes for a fuller, darker lash line.

A full set often takes 2 to 3 hours. Your natural lashes shed every day, so most people come back for lash fills every 2 to 3 weeks to keep the set looking full.

Lifts, lamination and brow shaping

If you want your own lashes and brows to look their best with less upkeep, a lift or lamination may suit you better than extensions.

A lash lift and tint curls your natural lashes from the root and darkens them, so they look longer without mascara. It usually takes about an hour and lasts several weeks. Brow lamination sets your brow hairs in a brushed-up shape so brows look fuller and neater. Brow shaping and tint uses waxing, tweezing or trimming plus tint to define your shape and fill in sparse spots.

How booking a lash or brow artist works at Valen

Start on the booking hub. Each provider card shows their services, the prices they set and a Book button that opens their own booking system. Read their policies there, because each artist sets their own deposit, cancellation and late arrival rules.

Some artists ask for a patch test before a first lash set or tint, since a few people react to lash adhesive or tint. If you have sensitive eyes, allergies or recent eye surgery, ask the artist before you book.

On the day, park at the plaza and come with clean lashes and no eye makeup. Your service happens in the artist’s own private room, not on a busy open floor.
